How it plays

Every round puts new additions for your resort up for auction. Players bid against each other, raising and getting bumped, until each offer has a winner, and then you fit what you won into your own hotel and casino. Event cards change the conditions as you go, so a plan that looked perfect last round may need a rethink.

It won Games Magazine's Game of the Year for 2007, and it still earns its seat. Three to five players aged fourteen and up can finish in about seventy-five minutes, which makes it a strong pick for a weeknight strategy session.
