We designed it to grow with a child, from learning letters at five to spelling without help. Two to four can play, and the Disney Junior artwork keeps early readers at the table. It earns a spot in classrooms too.
The family this was bought for are being homeschooled. They use their scrabble game to practice learning words and meanings.
I was looking for a scrabble junior that actually had the wooden letter tiles instead of cardboard ones (like some of the other versions) and this one was great. We had fun with the side that has the words already there and look forward to when they feel comfortable enough to flip to the blank side.
