What's in the box

  • Three theaters of war: Earth, undersea cities and the Moon
  • Each army fields five unique commanders alongside its mechs
  • Five decks of command cards drive your strategy
  • Double-sided tokens, resealable bags and a redesigned Moon board
  • For 2 to 5 players, ages 10 and up

How it plays

The heart is still Risk: place troops, attack neighbors with dice, and fortify. Here, though, your army is made of mechs led by five commanders, and each commander opens a deck of command cards you can play for an edge. Territories now include cities under the ocean and settlements on a separate Moon board, so fronts open everywhere.

The rules teach quickly, which makes it a good next step for families aged ten and up who have outgrown the classic map. Two to five can play, and no two games shake out the same way.
