How it plays

Before the first hand, every player takes a signet card with its own special ability, such as shadow wielding or mending. Then you play cards to gather property sets like Aretia, Raegan's House, and the Healer Quadrant, while action cards let you swap properties, collect blades, or poison rival riders. Protect three complete sets first and you win.

Learning takes a few minutes and a game lasts about 15, so it slides neatly into a book club evening. We think fans of the Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros will enjoy spotting characters, places, and moments on every card.
