How it plays
Start by choosing a character card — Rumi, Mira, Zoey, Jinu, or Derpy — each with its own ability you can use all game. Then play item cards toward sets, add fan cards to your Fan Club so you can pay rivals who come after you, and spring action cards to go viral or take the spicy challenge. Three different complete sets wins.
It takes about fifteen minutes, so two to five players ages 8 and up can fit a few rounds in after school or on a beach trip. Fans of the Netflix film will spot the references on nearly every card.
What players say
Very nice game!
Very nice edition. Just a little different from the regular Monopoly Deal.
A bit complicated to learn
More complicated than I expected- learn the rules for Monopoly Deal to understand this and think of the “fans” as your bank, and the “items” as properties. Definitely 7+. Once we figured out this game it was definitely fun to play in a larger group, and kept adults entertained though I’d prefer the non K-pop version.
Fun game!
Fun family game. We played with 8-30 year olds and everyone enjoyed it. Pretty easy to learn, some of the rules we left out to make it easier for the younger kids.
