How it plays

Harriet stands on a tray of ice blocks, dreaming of her snow cone shop. Players take turns picking a block and knocking it loose with a plastic mallet. In the classic game you choose any block you like; in the second mode you roll the six-color die and must tap out a block of that flavor. Drop Harriet and you are out.

This is a game for small hands and big gasps. Set-up is quick, no reading is needed, and a round is short enough for one more go before dinner. We reach for it on playdates, when two to four preschoolers need something to giggle over together.
