Hi Ho! Cherry-O Counting Game

What's in the box

• Pretend cherries, blueberries, apples, and oranges to pick from the trees
• Spinner tells players how many pieces to pick or put back
• Practices counting, addition, and subtraction through play
• For 2 to 4 players, ages 3 and up

How it plays

On your turn, flick the spinner and do what it says: pick one, two, three, or four pieces of fruit from your tree and drop them in your basket. Land on the bird or the dog and two pieces go back on the branches. Hit the spilled bucket and the whole basket empties, so you start again. First full basket wins.

This is where many of us learned to count, and it still does the job for ages 3 and up. Little hands practice counting, adding, and taking away without noticing the lesson. It suits two to four players at home and earns its place in a classroom, too.
