How it plays

Play begins the usual way: two players alternate dropping discs, starting in the middle or at an edge, and build upward, sideways, or diagonally toward four in a row. The difference is the four blue Blocker discs. Drop one to occupy the space your opponent needs, or use it to lift your own checkers higher and finish a line sooner.

It is a good fit for ages 6 and up who already know the standard game and want a fresh wrinkle. Because nobody can be sure when a blue disc will land, even experienced players have to stay a step ahead.
