How it plays

Choose Mario, Luigi, Peach or Yoshi and head out along the looping paths, deciding which areas to explore. You gather coins, grab Items and Companions, and face off in minigames such as Rock Paper Scissors, Thumb Wars and Spin-Offs for prizes. Near Bowser's Castle, coins buy stars that boost your battle spin for the final showdown.

It is a natural fit for households where the console and the game shelf compete for attention. Two to four players of 8 and up can jump in, and the minigames keep everyone involved even when it is not their turn.

What players say

Easy Family Game
Great family game for kids that are 6 and up. It's not like your typical Life game. It's a fast and simple way of playing with the young ones. My son loves it. There is no insurance or having kids involved. It's collection of stars to beat the boss.

This is a super fun game. I think it is more fun than the original. My 7 and 10 old play together and we join in for a family fun night.
