What's in the box

  • 50 haunt scenarios for a different story every game
  • Modular board pieces build a new house each time
  • 6 detailed character figures, each with a removable colored disc
  • 12 characters not seen in previous editions
  • For 3 to 6 players, ages 12 and up

How it plays

Everyone starts on the same side, playing explorers who reveal the house room by room with modular tiles. Then the haunt begins. One of fifty scenarios kicks in, a traitor is named, and the cooperative mood collapses: the remaining explorers must survive whatever the house and their former friend have planned. Because the layout and scenario change, each visit tells a new story.

We rebuilt the third edition with new players in mind, with clearer rulebooks, trackers, and cards to ease the first game. It is at its best with three to six people, aged twelve and up, who enjoy horror films and do not mind being betrayed.
